 Our design solution for the management Carla's medical condition, an ileostomy, is a custom-fit, reusable, interlocking, 3-D printed part that removes the skin-to-wafer contact of a conventional ostomy bag, replacing the adhesive seal with a mechanical seal surrounding the stoma. This resolves her issues of leakage and financial burdens.
